Tips for Getting the Most Out of Free SVG Cut Files
Start with cardstock. If you're new to cutting machines, cardstock is the most forgiving material. It cuts cleanly, it's cheap, and small mistakes are easy to redo. Our free SVG files were designed primarily with cardstock in mind.
Use the right blade. A fresh fine-point blade makes a huge difference, especially on detailed designs like our floral and border files. If your cuts are tearing instead of slicing, swap the blade.
